As many of you know Ziv passed away Thursday after a long eight year battle with a rare form of cancer. He never complained, always with a smile and a joke he is an inspiration to all of us who complain about the small things in life. Most people never knew he was sick.

He was my best friend and a great human being. Always the first to help out volunteer, lend an ear to a friend in need. He gave of himself in both time and money.

This is a man who touched everyone’s life. He had so many friends.
Ziv lived to make people happy, through a joke or his music. He performed till the very end, getting out of the hospital Friday and doing the Sababa party on Saturday. That was his farewell performance and a first class performance it was.

He was rushed to to the hospital on Sunday night but there was nothing that could save him. I am sure he knew that his time was up as he fought with me that he wanted to DJ Saturday. He simply wanted to say goodbye to his friends and do what he loved to do- make them dance!

It was Ziv’s wish to be buried in the land of his birthplace -his country Israel. On Sunday his family will accompany him on his final journey home.

But before that we will say goodbye to him with a service on Sunday July 5th at 8:30 AM sharp at Chevrat Kadisha. Please be on time to respect Ziv and his family as well as for the fact that the service will end at 9:45 AM so the casket can leave to the airport. The address is 7832 Santa Monica Blvd. West Hollywood 90048.

Ziv is survived by his parents Shoshana and Schmuel and stepmother as well as his brothers Eyal and Alon. And of course many friends and loved ones.

When I went to visit Ziv in the hospital Wednesday night I presented him with a SABABA shirt. After four years of putting up with me, I think that was the least I can do. He truly was SABABA!

So please honor my boss ZIV by saying goodbye to him Sunday at 8:30AM. The family requests their privacy at this time and request not to be contacted . For more info please contact me 310-497-5954.

Charity is a big part of my life -and even though times are tough and the economy sucks,there are always people worse off than us. Sometimes, in the struggles of our lives we forget this simple fact.
There are children who are abused,neglected or beaten; their parents are on drugs,or in jail, or ran away.  For them everyday is a nightmare.

I am talking about children -our yeladanu- our children living in Israel - Who need our help! Yad B Yad does that with 10 houses all over Israel providing services love and support to these children in desperate situations.

I became involved with Yad B Yad because I believe in what they do. On Saturday April 4th, we will be having a fundraising party for Yad b Yad at the Cow Jumped Over the Moon on Rodeo Drive in Beverly Hills.
My DJ’s Ziv and Titus will be spinning great music and I urge everyone to come together and party with us for this great cause.

So lets remember we are lucky and we are blessed! Lets share this blessing with these children in Israel. Lets give these children some hope, some guidance, and send some love their way. You can help make a change for good and make the world a better place.
